This was donated to the Roman police department by Enzo himself in the 60's. He donated it as a way to test the market for police vehicles. Enzo donated two 250 GTE Coupes as a reward to Rome for fighting back the Mafia. One was destroyed in a fatal test day crash, this is the remaining example. The story behind the car is fascinating and Petrolicious put together a great video which I stumbled across on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! a while back.
